Lies on the northern coast of Mauritius in a place called Kalodyne, named after an ancient shipwreck found close by. It is a beautiful family home, belonging to local artist Brigitte & her german nomad husband Bernhard, built in 1985 and newly renovated in 2006 to serve as your ideal getaway…

A a private, luxurious, artistically decorated ‘home away from home’ situated right on the beach, encircled by water from the East ,West & North with uninterrupted views past gentle lagoon & coral reef onto 3 islets (round island, flat island & gunner’s coin) and vast open horizons.

Without moving a toe, you can experience spectacular sunrises & sunsets every day of your stay as well as a full moon rising (if you’re really lucky!).Days can be spent dozing on the beach and nights counting shooting stars. You will taste the tranquility of times gone by, sipping a sundowner, staring at the magic night skies in front of a blazing bonfire, taking a moonlit swim and falling asleep to the sound of the sea breeze in the filao trees & faraway waves kissing the reefs.
